(14th) July 2010: Work on the new album began in the studio the first week of May with 13 songs being recorded, and mixed at the stunning Opus Studios in Grayshott by the end of June. After over 3 weeks in the studio work is almost complete, with the final master being completed last week. The album should be off for manufacture the end of this week (16th July), beginning of the next. Songs titles are;

5. Wasting time
6. This side
7. Crazy daisy 
8. Wherever there may be
9. Divine intervention
10. Life goes on
11. Looking for peace
12. Long goodbyes
13. Six of one

And the album has a new title....Eighty Two And A Half Chances....

May 2010: Pre-production work on the next album tentatively titled "Wherever There May Be" has already begun.  The first 5 days in the studio begin the first 2 weeks of May.  More details to follow....

28th December 2009: Richard appeared on Brooklands FM's Live Lounge and did a 30 minute set featuring 4 songs.  Listen to Richard's set by clicking the following link  LIVE Lounge

27th November 2009: Richard appears on GU2 Radio's Perfumed Garden Gnome show (8-9pm) performing songs live in the studio. 

7th September 2009: Richard is going to feature on Brooklands FM from 8-10pm GMT Listen in live on www.brooklandsfm.co.uk  Richard will talk about his music, musical journey, and the station will play some of the artists and tunes that have influenced him, as well as Richard performing a few acoustic numbers live on air.

7th June 2009: Richard is now confirmed to play at Togfest on 26th/27th June.

1st June 2009: The song "Let it Go" is to be featured on the upcoming MelodicRock.com compilation album on the acoustic disc. Further details available at the above link.

6th May 2009: Another review has come in from the guys at Mojophenia, "It seems fatefully perfect that the debut album from Richard Lee should arrive in the mail during a string of much needed sunny days..." (more in Press)

April 2009: A few songs from the album have been featured on the infamous Radio Caroline in the past month. Radio Caroline is one of the original Pirate Radio stations broadcasting from a boat - Go see 'The Boat That Rocked' for more info!

27th March 2009: Beautiful Car Wreck reviewed "8 out of 10" at CrossRhythms.co.uk  "...a very well crafted album of 11 personal songs of pain and hope. The title track is a confident and well realised pop song; in contrast "Holding Out" is a great funk/rock track with a nifty little acoustic solo and showcases an impressive vocal range..." March 2009: Festival Dates Confirmed so far for 2009- 11th July - Michfest - Ashford, Middlesex; 25/26th July Redfest - Nr. Redhill, Surrey; 9th/10th August Broadstairs Folk festival - Broadstairs, Kent; 15th/16th August Walton Sound Fest - Walton. Full details to be confirmed soon.

6th March 2009: The song 'Flood' is featured on Indie Music Sampler's PODCast.

25th Feb 2009: Richard is interviewed by GU2 Radio at his Headline show at Fahrenheit 55 on the 25th to be featured on Friday 27th show..

Jan 30th 2009: Richard's song "Cry Wolf" is featured on GU2 Radio (on the brilliant Andy Vale's Perfumed Garden Gnome Show).

Jan 2009: Richard is currently booking gigs for this year and arranging festival appearances.  

May 2008: Following a 6-month gigging hiatus due to a serious case of Laryngitis, and subsequent vocal fatigue, Richard starts gigging again.

September 2007: The song 'Beautiful Car Wreck' is featured on 2-ten FM.
